One of our favorite services that we offer are MSU grad photos. I recommend that my clients get a mix of traditional senior graduation photos with cap and gown and some with a simple white dress. Photos with the cap and gown offer more of a classic and timeless photo of yourself while the dress photos allow you to show the more classy personal side of your personality.

While the peak demand for Michigan State senior graduation photography occurs in the two weeks before and after graduation, I suggest considering a slightly later timeframe in the year to enjoy a more relaxed experience and avoid potential crowds, which can add up to 45 minutes to your session at popular landmark locations. Additionally, for winter graduates, capturing fall graduation photos on MSU's campus can provide stunning and less crowded settings.

Before your session

After you book your session and we sign the agreement, we will come up with a time and location for your seniors shoot. Click here for a list of my favorite spots around Lansing to do portraits. Make sure you or your senior fills out the short questionnaire that I send to you! This is also a good time to figure out what you want to wear and bring to your portrait session. During your session

I’ll use a mix of prompts and movement to get natural photos. I’ll also have you bring a friend along to take part in some of the verbal prompts to get you laughing.

After your session

About two weeks after your photo session, you’ll get to see, purchase and download your photos in your online gallery, and you’ll get a two day 20% off sale to buy any professional print products that you want for your home or for gifts.

Go ahead and fill out the contact form and I will get back to you within 24 hours. Once we have the date picked out we’ll send you the contract. A non-refundable $50 deposit is due at the time of signing with the remaining amount for the session due one week before our session.
Once the session is complete, you can expect to receive your photos within 2 weeks. The photos will arrive in a online gallery that is password protected. Within that gallery you will be able to select your favorites and make comments on them.
